This effort, led by UC Berkeley, is designed for all Californians to participate in the fight against Sudden Oak Death, the destructive and exotic disease that is decimating oaks throughout the state. This year, surveying for Sudden Oak Death is a must. Exceptionally high rainfall levels have probably lead to a significant expansion of the disease. Citizen scientists, trainings will last one hour, samples will be collected after the training, and all collection materials will be provided. Find your local SOD BioBlitz below:

June 28 - 29: People of the Global Majority in the Outdoors, Nature and the Environment (PGM ONE) Summit
