Free resources for schools! Green Schoolyards America and their colleagues at the International School Grounds Alliance are excited to announce the release of the expanded edition of their collaboratively written Activity Guides set, describing how to engage PreK-12 students outdoors for hands-on learning, play, ecology, health, and community. The set includes 235 activity ideas written by 187 organizations across the USA and the world. It also includes background information on the Green Schoolyards movement, the importance of taking students outside, and how they are working to shift the norm in schoolyard design and use. The PDFs are FREE! You can download and share this amazing resource here.

A new research library just launched by our members North American Association of Environmental Education and the Children & Nature Network. NAAEE and C&NN, with support from the Pisces Foundation, have teamed up to provide free access to the combined research collections of both organizations in one easy-to-use portal. With more than 1,000 peer-reviewed articles, summaries, and syntheses, eeRESEARCH represents one of the largest single collections of peer-reviewed literature focused on environmental education and connecting people to nature in the world.
